Looking at the genuine concern of many bank job aspirants and visitors of this website, we have decided for file a fresh petition to Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, regarding the age criteria in upcoming IBPS PO III.
As per a recent circular by Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services (Circular No. 10/30/3/2012-IR) it has been suggested that upcoming exam of IBPS PO 3 will have a age criteria of max 28 years.
We are starting a online petition to Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, to keep age criteria, for the illegibility for the IBPS PO III, as 30 years (for general candidates)
1. The hard work, which has been done by these candidates in last so many months (at times year) will go waste.
2. Their dream of being a banker will be shattered at the last moment
3. Many candidates have left their private jobs and are preparing for IBPS Bank Exams. Their future will be in dark as they will not be able to apply in any bank at officer level.
So, we request, that if IBPS want to bring this criteria, then it should come from IBPS PO 4 (and not from IBPS PO 3), if at all required, so that candidates are mentally prepared for the same. Also, IBPS will be able to recruit on the basis on merit, not undermining the capability of young people in the age group of 28-30 years.
We request you to please sign this online petition. It will hardly take 5-10 seconds of yours. Also, ask your friends to sign it, as the more number we will have the more impact, it can have on the decision making of the government. We want to present to this petition to Government before the notification of IBPS PO III, as once notification is out, it will be very difficult to get it revised. So, we request that please sign it as early as possible and also suggest your friends to sign it as soon as possible.
