IBPS PO III Written Test Results are out. First of all heartiest congratulation to all successful candidates. After the results, candidates are now most worried about their chances in the interview stage of the selection process and questions like what score is a good score? We at Bakersadda got bombarded with these questions in last few days and as an endeavour towards providing best analysis we would now clarify these queries of our students.

Let us first clarify, that all candidates, who have been qualified in IBPS PO III written test, will be called for a common interview i.e. there is no other cut-off regarding interviews.

Now, the next question and the most critical one is  - What are my chance to get through interview process of IBPS PO III?.

IBPS has clearly mentioned in its notification for IBPS PO III - "The Total marks allotted to written test are 200 and total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The weightage (ratio) of CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20."

This simply means, that, after the interview process, where you will get marks out of 100, your written marks will be converted to OUT OF 80 and Interview Marks will be converted to OUT OF 20. Final merit will be prepared on the basis of total marks out of 100.

Let us understand , how you written test score will be converted to out of 80 (using the formula Actual Score*80/200 )

 CWE Actual Score CWE Score out of 80 60 24 65 26 70 28 75 30 80 32 85 34 90 36 95 38 100 40 and so on..

Now, let us understand, how your Interview score will be converted to out of 20 (using the formula Interview Score*20/100 ). As per our experience in previous years, interview marks are generally in the range of 30-90 i.e. generally interviewers do not give marks less than 30 and on higher side, they give up to 90.

 Interview Marks Interview Marks out of 20 30 6 35 7 40 8 45 9 50 10 55 11 60 12 65 13 70 14 75 15 80 16 85 17 90 18 and so on..

Final Score will be calculated by adding up the above two scores. As per our analysis, we feel the ideal case scenario for the final selection will be - approx 70 marks in the written test and approx 60 marks in Interview and hence a final score of approx 40.

 CWE Actual Score Interview Actual Score Final Score Ideal Scenario 70 60 40 Possible Scenarios if your score is 60 60 30 30 60 40 32 60 50 34 60 60 36 60 70 38 60 80 40 Possible Scenarios of your score is 70 70 30 34 70 40 36 70 50 38 70 60 40 70 70 42
Note: We have assumed 60 marks for sake of simplicity

Above table, describes two scenarios, first - where your written test score is around 60 (on lower side) and second - where your written test score is approx 70 (Average Score). This table clearly shows that even if
you have a score of 60 you can get through interview but you have to score good marks in interview (approx 80).

It is very clear from above analysis that everyone qualified in IBPS PO III, written test has good chance of getting through the interview process and get a desired bank in the final allocations.

So, do not worry and do not get discouraged by the comments of other people. Interview is the critical stage of selection process and if you do well in interview, you will definitely get through. Qualifying, IBPS PO III is a huge feat in itself and by clearing PO III, you have already proved that you are a deserving candidate.
