List of Some New Appointments for IBPS Clerk III Interview

1. Sushil Koirala become new PM of Nepal
He replace Khil Raj Regmi.
Note: President of Nepal: Ram Baran Yadav

2. Satya Nadella appointed as CEO of Microsoft
Note:  Satya Nadella was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Internet Giant Microsoft by the Board of Directors of Microsoft on 4 January 2014. Satya Nadella succeed Steve Ballmer as the third CEO of the Microsoft firm.

3. R.K.Tiwari appointed new Chairman of CBDT
Note:  He will succeed Chairperson Sudha Sharma who is scheduled to retire on 28 February 2014.

4. N Ramachandran was elected President of Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

5. Justice Ashok Kumar Mathur appointed head of 7th Central Pay Commission

6. Harish Rawat appointed 8th Chief Minister of Uttrakhand
i. He succeeded Vijay Bahuguna.

7. Manoj Vaish took charge as MD & CEO of MCX
Note:  Manoj Vaish took charge as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) on 1 February 2014.

8. Aruna Bahuguna first woman to be appointed chief of National Police Academy
Note:  Aruna Bahuguna is the first woman to be appointed as the chief of the National Police Academy. She is the 28th chief of the academy and will be at its helm till February 2017.

9. Janet Yellen new Chairperson of Federal Reserve
Janet Yellen is the first woman to lead the US Federal Reserve. She succeeds Chairman Ben Bernanke.

10. R. Chandrashekhar appointed the President of NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies)
He  succeeded Som Mittal

11. J.N.Chaudhary was appointed as new head of NSG (National Security Guard)
National Security Guard :The National Security Guard (NSG) is a special force in India that has primarily been utilised for counter-terrorism activities.

12. Arvind Ranjan was appointed the full time chief of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
Central Industrial Security Force :The Central Industrial Security Force is a Central Armed Police Force in India. CISF was established in 1983 in the present form.

13. Ashok Lavasa, appointed the New Civil Aviation Secretary
He succeeded K.N.Srivastava.

14. M. Veerappa Moily appointed as the new Environment and Forests Minister
He took an additional charge of the Environment and Forests Ministry after the exit of Jayanthi Natarajan.

15. Siddarth Birla took charges as President of FICCI
Note: Sidharth Birla succeeded the HSBC India Country Head Naina Lal Kidwai.

16. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar became the ambassador of US
Note: He is the successor of Nirupama Rao and his position in Beijing will be taken by Ashok k. kantha. 

17. B. G. Srinivas and U.B. Pravin Rao appointed as presidents of the Infosys. 

18. Sushma Singh to take over as new Chief Information Commissioner
She succeed Deepak Sandhu.

19. Harsh Kumar Bhanwala appointed Chairman of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)
Note: He succeeded Prakash Bakshi

20. Usha Sangwan appointed first woman managing director of LIC
Note: i. Usha Sangwan was appointed as the first woman managing director of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) by the Government. She is the first woman director of LIC in its near six decades of existence.
ii.  With this appointment, LIC is set to function at its full strength of four MDs after almost two years. These would be S B Mainak, Sushobhan Sarkar, Sangwan and V K Sharma.
