SIDBI Officer Grade A – Exam Analysis – 24th January 2016 (Slot II)

Hello Readers,
As we all know, online exam for SIDBI Officer in Grade A was conducted today, and few of our readers attended the same. Overall, the exam was moderate, with General Awareness being the game changer. While, the questions asked in rest of the sections were ranged between Easy to Moderate. Let’s take a look one by one.
While in descriptive section, essay and letter were asked, which were moderate.

General Awareness:
The entire focus was on Banking, and various questions related to the industry which happened in November 2015 & December 2015 were asked.
Moreover, only two questions of static GK were asked, and they were :
Where is Buxa National Park? – West Bengal
Where is Kodaikanal? – Tamil Nadu
 
Computer:
 
Basic questions related to computer were asked, and most of them were easily doable.
 
Descriptive Section:
 
This section was of 75 marks, and only one essay and one letter was asked in the exam. Moreover, choices were given, out of which the candidate had to attend only one. 
 
Essay: 
  • Net neutrality
  • Is smartphone is a boon or bane?
  • Should reservation be on the basis of gender and racism?
Letter Writing:
  • Write a letter to NHAI complaining about the improper allocation of funds.
  • You want to renovate your office. Hence, write a letter to the owner of the furniture shop asking for the catalog and  pricing list. Moreover, ask him whether any discounts available.
