SBI CLERK FORM : Some Issues Faced By Studens

SBI CLERK FORM : Some Issues Faced By Studens |_2.1

Dear BA’ians

Many of you are facing a lot of trouble while filling up the Clerk Form. Yes this post is a tad bit late, but like they say ITS NEVER TOO LATE..

So all those who are yet to fill up the form, and are not able to do so, follow the post below.

Points that are likely to create confusion are as follows:

1) POST APPLIED FOR
There are 2 posts that you can apply for i.e..
(i) Junior Associate  (Customer Support & Sales)
All those who are Graduates in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

(ii) Junior Agricultural
Associates in clerical cadre in State Bank of India
Well most of you are to apply for the first post. Only those who are Graduates in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a
Government recognised university/Institute can apply for the 2nd post.

2) Another question in the form that is creating a confusion:
Do you want to apply under special recruitment drive for Tura Kashmir valley and Ladakh?
Under Special Recruitment Drive for Tura (Meghalaya) and Kashmir Valley & Ladakh candidates can apply for one District only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies, other than for Special Recruitment Drive for Tura (Meghalaya), Kashmir Valley & Ladhak , should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in official language of the State.

So all the students who belong to these regions can apply from here.
But make sure you know how to read write and communicate in the local languages of the region.

Following are the state and the district:

3) Next question that is likely to create the confusion as to which Circle should one apply for?

But before we clear up this doubt, lets first explain to you the difference between a Circle and a State.
Well SBI has in all 14 circles, and most of the Indian States, where SBI has its offices fall under these 14 Circles.

So you have to choose your circle according to the State where you want a job in.

Following is the table of the respective Circles and their states.

  • In the form they have asked you to fill out your district..if the option is not working, then move ahead, not a compulsion.
  • Make sure that you know how to read, write and communicate in the local/or official language if the state you are applying from.
  • Also your exam centre need not be same as that of your state or region. For example a student is from Telengana, and is currently working in Delhi. So he can choose his centre in Delhi.
