### SBI PO Prelims 2016: Exam Analysis - 2nd July, Slot IV

Hello Friends,

The First day Fourth slot of SBI PO prelims exam is over. Here we bring you the Fourth Slot Analysis which will help you understand the composition of SBI PO Pre exam. There are 3 Sections in SBI PO Pre exam namely English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

In this slot we have found that the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult. The pattern of this paper was similar to last year’s SBI PO prelims exam and the previous slot's papers. Also with being moderate we can say the paper was tricky. There were 5 puzzles asked in this fourth slot paper that is an important point to note. But those puzzles were of difficult level.
The total time is 1 hour, so clearly Speed, Accuracy and Planning is surely needed to have good attempts.

Over-all Analysis:

Section Level Good Attempts General English Moderate 16-20 Quantitative Aptitude Moderate 18-22 Reasoning Ability Moderate-Difficult 16-20 Overall Moderate 53-58

The analysis is based on the review given by various students across the country. And here is the section wise review:

English
The important point in English language section is that it has to be attempted within limited time so that you are left with sufficient time for Quant and Reasoning. The level of English was moderate as it was in previous year PO prelims paper. There was only one Reading Comprehension on a quite familiar topic – Women Empowerment.

Topic No of Questions Level Reading Comprehension (Women Empowerment Index in World) 10 Moderate Cloze Test (Technology Usage ) 5 Easy Para-jumbled (Insurance Company Related in India) 5 Difficult Error 5 Moderate Double Fillers 5 Easy Total 30 Moderate

Quant
The quant was asked just as expected with difficulty level as moderate. Overall the pattern was almost same as previous slot exam. DI data was given related to production.
Topic No of Questions Level Number Series 5 Moderate-Difficult Quadratic Equation 5 Easy Data Interpretation (Bar graph/Table) 10 Easy-Moderate Approximation 5 Easy Arithmetic including Geometry 10 Difficult Total 35 Moderate

Reasoning
As we've seen in earlier slots reasoning is tricky but it is of moderate level. With good accuracy students will score well. There were no coding decoding question asked in this slot and also there were no questions from Syllogism. Just as the previous slot 5 Puzzles were asked and they were tricky as in no direct information can be easily inferred from the directions given in them.

Topic No of Questions Level Puzzle (North South 8 People in same line/ Department and Persons/ 7 mobile and 7 persons/ Boxes and their different colours) 20 Difficult Seating Arrangement (6 Person sitting from top to bottom) 5 Moderate Inequalities 5 Easy Direction Sense 2 Easy Blood Relation 3 Easy Total 35 Moderate-Difficult

So students keep your accuracy good and stay focused as the paper can be tricky. All the best for tomorrow's exam.
