It was in July 2015 when I decided to join bank coaching. After 3 months of coaching i gave my first exam that of ibps PO-5 prelims and I cleared it comfortably. it raised my confidence and I started preparing for mains. When the result came I was happy that I made it to the interview. Because it was my first interview I got nervous and Didn’t performed well. As a result I missed final selection by 0.9 marks. Final cutoff -49.9 I got 49.
Ibps clerk 5 – missed final selection by 0.25
Sbi po 2016 – missed in mains by 1.5 marks
Sbi clerk 2016- missed selection by 5 marks
Bank of Maharashtra-cutoff 121 got 118
After a series of failure I started working hard for Ibps-VI PO and clerk. Just 12 days before ibps PO 6 mains i lost my grandmother..As I was very close to her.it was a huge setback for me. I gave mains without any revision. without preparation of GA and computer. But deep inside I always knew that I will score good in mains. As I was confident of scoring huge in English and aptitude.
I cleared mains with ease and performed reasonably well in interview..
Final cutoff Ibps P0 -39.9 [my marks 44.10] (78 marks in written (52.5 cutoff),Got Canara bank [first preference]

Few tips:-
1) make at least two subjects your strong point,so that you can score big in them and it will also help you in scoring well above overall cutoff (In my case it was English,General awareness,aptitude)
2)Read newspaper daily.it helps in General awareness as well as it will improve your English.(for English you can also read novels,watch English movies or TV series with subtitles if you are weak in English)
3)Follow adda247 quizzes daily. Stop solving from book. Adda247 will keep you updated with latest questions
4)Never get nervous in exam.be confident. its not the end of the world.
5)Don’t compare others attempts with your attempt. less questions attempts with high accuracy is way better than large no. Of attempts with low accuracy.
In the end..focus on what you want..you will fail..you will get depressed…you will hear all those taunts..But in the end it will all pay off..and never ever think of quitting.Just work hard and be strong mentally and physically.You just need one good exam.
