Finally, today NICL AO Prelims is over for which many of you was studying very hard from past many days. So, because of that it becomes important for every aspirant to go through the NICL AO prelims analysis. If we talk about the exam pattern it was similar to every other insurance prelims exam, There were 3 Sections in NICL AO 2017 Prelims Exam namely English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. English had 30 questions, Quant and Reasoning had 35 questions in each section. 60 minutes time limit was given for 100 questions. And coming to the part which every student like to know i.e. level of exam, overall lever of exam was easy keeping this in mind we can say good attempts can be around 69-75.
If we talk about section wise topics, in English we saw phrase replacement like in SBI PO Pre and rest was cloze test, Reading comprehension and error. In quant there were 3 DI of which 1 was easy and rest was bit calculative and the major change we saw that there was no questions from simplification/approximation. Coming to reasoning section this was very easy and there were 3 puzzle and sitting arrangement and also there were 3 small puzzles from blood relation, order and ranking and direction of 2-3 questions each.
Now as the exam was easy we can say that NICL AO Prelims cutoff going to be high. Mainly the cutoff of any exam depends on the number of vacancy and the level of exam. If we compare NICL AO Prelims with SBI PO Prelims, the number of vacancy in SBI PO is approx. 10 times the NICL AO vacancy and also if we talk about exam level, the level of SBI PO Prelims was moderate while talking about NICLAO Prelims it was easy. So, considering all these factor we can say NICL AO Prelims cutoff can be around 68-73. But don’t get negative with this just start preparing for the mains.
