I spend more time on reading through an article about other’s success and don’t spend time on my own preparations.

I find it hard to concentrate on my studies, there are family issues/financial problems/post breakup trauma/etc.
Instead of completing the chapter, I decide to keep it for last and end up leaving the topic unfinished and sometimes untouched.

I have to prepare for the exam along with my job because I am the single earning member of my family. I find it hard to manage time.

I am going to be a first-time attempter. Is it possible for me to compete with other aspirants who are preparing for months or years?

So many failures have damaged my confidence.
As the season of competitive examinations is approaching, many of you must be going through such an emotional turmoil during your preparation phase. Nobody other than you knows what you are going through in your life. But students, knowing your own mind is the answer to all these questions. Always remember that you are not the only one struggling throughout. There are many other aspirants who are working hard even after going through hilarious ups and downs in their lives and there are people who won their spurs and are now placed with prestigious government jobs. So, do not sit brooding about the upcoming battle, fearing the outcome. Recognize your share of responsibility and start working on it as it’s high time to start your preparations.
Failure is a necessity
Students, little failures are like potholes on a road. After a while, you know very well where to drive and where not to. So if you fail, don’t think it is the end of the world. Ask yourself why you failed and promise yourself not to repeat the same mistake again. You will actually emerge tougher.
Time Management
College going students, working professionals, first-time attempters will all have problems related to time. The objective of time management is to allocate time wisely so you can achieve your goal. Organize your peak study time to coincide with the times of day when you are most awake and alert. Go for other non-study activities as well in rest of the time which are important but lower priority items, such as exercise, music or socializing.
Stay focused
Remember the fact that when you are on a mission to crack a national level exam, distractions seem a lot sweeter and an area to comfort you from all hard work.
