New Pattern Reasoning Questions for RRB PO Exam 2017

Reasoning is a game of wits and presence of mind! Yes, it is true and it might seem as the greatest of the challenge after English Section’s surprises but yet this one can easily be dealt with. You just need correct practice and hardwire your brain to quickly make decisions of what to attempt and what to leave. Practice with these new pattern reasoning question for RRB PO Exam 2017.

Directions (1-5): Study the given information carefully and answer the given questions.
An input-output is given in different steps. Some mathematical operations are done in each step. No mathematical operation is repeated in next step but it can be repeated with some other mathematical operation (as multiplication can be used with subtraction in step 1 and same can be used with addition in step 2)

As per the rules followed in the steps given above, find out in each of the following questions the appropriate step for the given input.

Directions (6-7): In each question below, are given a statement followed by two courses of action numbered I and II. On the basis of the information given in the statement, you have to assume everything in the statement to be true, and then decide which of the suggested courses of action logically follow(s) for pursuing.

Q6. Statement: Fake currency is being supplied to India through the bus service that comes from Pakistan.
Course of action:
I. Indian government should stop all bus service which comes from Pakistan.
II. Indian police should check the bus properly and keep proper vigilance in the bus which comes from Pakistan.

Q7. Statement: Over the years there has been increasing use of money power in elections.
Course of action:
I. Candidates found indulging in such malpractices should be banned from contesting elections for entire life.

Directions (8-10): Below in each question are given two statements I and II. These statements may be either independent causes or may be effects of independent causes. One of these statements may be the effect of the other statements. Directions (11-15): Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below. 
Ten students are sitting in twelve seats in two parallel rows containing five student each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row 1, A, B, C, D and E are seated and all of them are facing south, and in row 2, P,Q, R, S and T are sitting and all of them are facing north. One seat is vacant in each row. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each student seated in a row faces another student of the other row. All of them like different subjects i.e. Hindi, English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Civics, Art, Sanskrit and Urdu. 
A sits second to left of one who like Hindi subject. T sits one of the extreme ends of the row. There are three student sit between T and S, who likes English subject. Immediate neighbor of T faces B. One of immediate neighbor of B faces R, who likes Maths subject. C likes Science subject and sits second to left of vacant seat. One of immediate neighbor of R is Q and he likes History subject. One of immediate neighbor of Q faces D who likes Geography subject. The one who likes Civics subject sits immediate left of the one who likes Art subject. The one who likes Sanskrit subject sits third to left of person who likes Urdu subject. Either the seat which is adjacent to A or the one who likes Hindi subject is on the extreme end of the row. There are no vacant seats adjacent to R
