Changes In The Pattern of IBPS PO 2017 Examination

IBPS has already released the official notification for the recruitment process in its Public Sector Banks and the preliminary examinations are scheduled to be held the month of October. Well, the notification came as a bliss to some while others jumped out of their skin having seen the changes introduced in the pattern of IBPS Examination to be conducted this year.

You all must be aware of the striking modifications made by IBPS in the Pattern of Examination by now. The changes introduced are for the Mains Examination pattern whereas the pattern of Prelims Examination, to your aid, still remains the same. Names of different Sections of Mains Examination too have changed along with the number of questions and marks assigned to them in all. A New concept of Descriptive Paper too has been included in the mains examination. The Reasoning  Section and Computer Knowledge Section have now been amalgamated together to form a different section called Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude. So, this is just an overview of what IBPS has newly introduced to the pattern of Mains Examination that we will be discussing about in this article as we proceed further.

A Descriptive Test will now be conducted along with the objective type paper of Mains Examination this year. It will carry a total of 25 marks and the duration to finish the test will be 30 minutes. You will get to see Letter and Essay Writing in this descriptive paper of IBPS PO 2017 Mains Examination.

The new pattern of IBPS PO 2017 Examination is a simulacrum of SBI PO Examination. Moving ahead and talking about the questions that will be asked in the Examination, we would like to tell you all that in the previous year examination i.e., in 2016 Examination, IBPS followed the pattern of questions asked in SBI only. So, students, it is very probable this year that the pattern of questions too will be similar to that of the questions asked in SBI. Do go through the memory based paper of SBI PO Examination before you appear for the IBPS PO Examination and practice the questions earnestly as it will definitely do a good turn. So, practice as much as you can and success will be wrapped around your little finger. At the end of the day, you are solely responsible for your success and your failure. And the sooner you realize that, you accept that, and integrate that into your work ethic, you will start being successful.
