☛ What are the posts available under this recruitment project?
The post which will be available in this recruitment project is Attendant.

☛ When will be the exam conducted?
In the month of December 2017/January 2018.

☛ What is the Exam Pattern?

☛ When will the registration start?
Registrations have started on 17th November 2017 and will end on 07th December 2017.


☛ When will the results be declared?

Roll No. of those candidates who have qualified for LPT on the basis of the Online test will be displayed on RBI’s website in the month of January/February 2018.

☛ How many vacancies are there?

☛ What is the syllabus for RBI Attendant 2017 Exam?
Students aiming for RBI Attendant exam must prepare these sections: General English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General Awareness (Static awareness, banking awareness, and current affairs). The syllabus is same as RBI Assistant 2017 syllabus. 

☛ Will there be any interview after the written result?
No, there will be no GD or Interview round for RBI Attendant Recruitment.
☛ Will the exam be conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
Common Written Exam for RBI Attendant will be conducted online.

☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Minimum: 18 years         Maximum: 25 years
A candidate must have been born not  earlier than 02.11.1992 and not later than 01.11.1999 (both dates inclusive)

☛ What is the educational qualification required for the posts in this recruitment process?
A candidate should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he is applying (Refer Annex III). Such qualification should be from a recognized board. 

Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable. 

☛ I am pursuing graduation, can I apply for this post?
Yes you can. The candidate should be an undergraduate as on 01/11/2017. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualification are not eligible to apply.

☛ What is the Application Fee?
Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. 
Rs. 450 /- for all others 
☛ I am 17 years old. Can I sit for the exam?
No, You must be at least 18 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on as on 01.11.2017.
☛ Is the exam Bilingual?
The tests except for the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

☛ What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for RBI Attendant. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the written test.

☛ Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes, there is a sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section in order to secure a seat for the final selection.
☛ I have cleared the overall cutoff for the exam. However, I could not clear the cutoff for the Numerical Ability section. Am I still eligible?
Unfortunately, you are not eligible for final selection. You must clear the cutoff for each section individually and the overall cutoff as well.

☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.

☛ What is the pattern of score in RBI Attendant?
The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using the equipercentile method.

☛ What is Language Proficiency Test?
It is a test to check the candidate’s proficiency in the local language. LPT will be of Qualifying Type. The candidates provisionally selected from the On-line Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned (Annex-I). Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.
