"If it's meant to happen it will happen": Shubhi Saxena (IDBI Bank PO)

Hello All,
I am Shubhi. I did not write Bank exams just because everyone was writing but because I belong to a family of bankers where my father works as Chief Manager in State Bank of India, my brother is senior manager in central bank of India, my sister in law is specialist officer in Canara Bank & my mother also is in a government job. so from starting I have my personal interest to get into the bank and get a job.

Bank exams & the pattern has changed drastically in last few years. After graduating in 2015, not joining the private company job I started to follow my dream which was to get a job into Bank.
I cleared preliminary of every IBPS exam in one go whether it’d be a PO, CLERK, IBPS RRB. But missed mains by very minute marks. I was least interested in solving mathematics. frankly speaking.
But after not clearing mains I understood one thing that in bank exams you cannot leave even a one section.you should be good enough in each section and very good in a section which is your strong point.my weak point was maths and the strong point was my learning skills.so I started practicing maths covered each topic and started learning GK from Bankersadda daily updates and started making notes out of it. I also learned the whole static GA from Bankersadda capsule which really helped me to get at least 15 marks in GK in every exam.
My attempts-
IBPS PO- prelims cleared, Mains out
SBI PO- missed pre by 0.25
Bank of Baroda PO- missed the final selection by 0.25
Syndicate Manipal, Indian Bank, IPPB-out
IBPS RRB- Prelims cleared, Mains out
IBPS CLERK- Prelims cleared, Mains cleared, Got Bank of India
IDBI PO- cleared.
There are several utmost things which all the aspirants should keep in mind while preparing:
1. Practice daily.
Attempt as many mock tests as much you can and daily quiz uploaded on Bankersadda (Adda247) app sectional wise.just not give but also analyze and improve.
2. Patience.
Patience is the key. If you are after one thing it has to be yours one day. DO NOT give up on your dreams.
3. Believe in yourself.
Nothing can be achieved if you don’t have faith in yourself.you are no less then others.
Thank You,  Shubhi Saxena, for sharing your success story on Bankersadda and we wish you all the very best for your future as a Banker ahead…
