☛ What are the posts available on this recruitment project?
The post which will be available in this recruitment project are:

☛ When will be the exam conducted?
The Tentative date for Preliminary Exam, Tier-I : 16th August 2018.

☛ How many vacancies will be there?
The number of vacancies are more than 160.

What is the selection procedures of RBI Grade-B Recruitment 2018?

The selection for Officers will be done through a three tiered process:
I. Preliminary Examination
II. Mains Examination
III. Personal Interview

Final Selection-
The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection. Only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in Objective Test and Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in Interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately.

☛ What is the number of chances in RBI Grade-B Recruitment 2018?
Candidates belonging to unreserved i.e. General Category, who have already appeared Six times for Phase-I Examination for this post in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, if the posts are reserved for them.

☛ Will there be an interview after the written result?

Yes, There is Phase-III, the interview round after the Mains or Phase-II online exam.

☛ Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
Common Written Exam for RBI Grade-B Recruitment will be conducted online (Both Phase-I and Phase-II).
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st of July, 2018 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 1997. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.
☛ What is the educational qualification required for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General) – DR posts in this recruitment process?
A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years.
☛ What is the Application Fee?
For SC/ST/PWD Rs.100/- (Intimation Charges only)
For General, OBC Rs.850/– (App. Fee including intimation charges)
☛ When will the registration start?
Registration will start from 03rd July to 23rd July 2018.
☛ I have scored 55% in Graduation. Am I eligible to sit for the exam for the post of  Officers in Grade ‘B’ (General) – DR?

☛ I am 20 years old. Can I sit for the exam?
No, You have to wait another year in order to appear for the exam. You must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on as on 01.04.2018
☛ How to calculate the Percentage?
Some Universities/Institutes/Boards do not award Class or percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute/Board defines criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into percentage of marks, the same will be accepted. However, where the University/Institute/ Board does not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into percentage of marks, in the degree/passing certificates, the undefined parameter(s) would be worked out as under:

Note: Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.

Note: Where the Aggregate Grade Point (CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.) is awarded out of a number other than 10, it will be normalized out of 10 and computed as per note 2 above.

☛ What is the Structure of the exam?

Phase  I: Preliminary Exam

This will comprise a single Paper for 200 marks and will be held on August 16, 2018. The Paper will consist tests of:

i. General Awareness
ii. English Language
iii. Quantitative Aptitude and;
iv. Reasoning

A composite time of 120 minutes will be given for answering

Phase III: Interview
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.

☛ What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for RBI Grade B Recruitment Exams and Processes. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the Online Test.
☛ Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes, candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as in aggregate.

☛ What is the pay scale and approximate monthly salary?

Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 35150-1750 (9)-50900-EB-1750 (2)-54400-2000 (4)-62400 applicable to Officers in Grade B and they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 75,831/-(approx.)
