Directions (1-5): Study the information and answer the given questions:

Eight persons S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z lives on eight storey building with ground floor being numbered one and the next floor is number 2 and so on. They have their birth date on August, May, September, November, July, December, June, and October but not necessarily in same order.
S lives on even numbered floor above fourth floor.  Two people lives between the floors on which S lives and the one who was born in July. Four people lives between the floors of U and X. U lives on even numbered floor above X.  The person who was born in May lives on odd numbered floor above the one who born in July and below the floor upon which S lives. Number of people living between the one who born in July and S, is two more than the number of persons between the one who was born in May and U. T was not born in May. As many people live between the one who born in June and October same as between the one who born in May and person T.  The person who was born in June lives on one of the floor above the one who born in October  and lives on even number floor below 8th floor but not on 4th floor. Y lives on odd floor immediately above V.  Four people lives between the one, who born in December and November. The person who born in December lives on one of the floors above the person who born in November. T lives immediately above Z. V was not born in August.The number of person who lives between U and the one born in October is less than 3.

Directions (6-10): In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by three Conclusions numbered I, II and III. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Directions (11-15): Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below:

The following are the conditions for the recruitment of Accountants and Accounts Assistants in an MNC. The candidate must-
(i) Have a degree of MBA.
(ii) Be in range of 25 years to 35 years.
(iii) Have work experience of not less than 5 years.
(iv) Be a Chartered Accountant.

If a candidate fulfills all these criteria, he/she would be selected as an accountant.
However, if a candidate fulfills all the criteria except
A.  (iv) above, but has a degree of B Com with minimum 70% marks and also has an experience of 10 years, he/she can be selected as an Accountant.
B.   (ii) above, but has a work experience of minimum 10 years, then the case may be referred to the MD, Personnel.
C.   (iv) above, but has a degree of B Com with 70% marks and an experience of less than 10 years but not less than 6 years, and has computer literacy, then the candidate may be selected as an Accounts Assistant.
Based on these criteria decide what course of action should be taken in case of each of these candidates. No further information is available. You are not to assume anything. These cases are given to you as on 01.08.2003. Give answer-
(a) Candidate is to be selected as an Accountant.
(b) Candidate is to be selected as an Accounts Assistant.
(c) Case is to be referred to the MD, Personnel.
(d) Candidate is not to be selected.
(e) Data is inadequate.

Q11. Aryan is a Chartered Accountant with a work experience of seven years. His date of birth is 15.08.1971. He is a commerce graduate. He also has a degree of MBA.

Q12. Pooja Saini is a 38-year-old commerce graduate. She has a degree of MBA. She has a work experience of 3 years. She is computer-literate.

Q13. Abhishek Singh was born on 19.07.1974. He has been working since he got his MBA degree in 1999. He is a B Com degree holder with 80% marks. He has also done a Diploma in Computer Software.

Q14. Divyaraj Singh is a commerce graduate. He was born on 01.09.1976. He is computer-literate and also has an MBA degree. He has been working for the last four years. His percentage of marks in graduation (B Com) is 85.

Q15. Anshul Gupta is a Chartered Accountant having an experience of 10 years. She became a commerce graduate (B Com) on 02.02.1989 when she was 21 years old. She has an MBA degree.
