State Bank of India (SBI) conducts national level banking exams - SBI PO, SBI SO and SBI Clerk to recruit candidates for various posts in SBI and its associate banks across the country. Here's a detailed overview on the three most sought-after banking exams today.

SBI PO 2018

SBI PO is a lucrative career option for all the aspirants who wish to join the reputed Government Sector. SBI PO 2018 will be conducted by State Bank of India to recruit eligible candidates to the post of Probationary officer. 


Age Relaxation:
 05 Years for SC / ST; 03 Years for OBC (NCL); Plus 10 Years for PWD Category with Reserved Category Relaxation; 05 Years for Ex-Serviceman and Jammu & Kashmir domiciled candidates (during the period of 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989).

Emoluments: Rs.16,900/- (with 4 increments) in the scale of Rs. 14500-600/7-18700-700/2¬20100-800/7-25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in the Final year / Semester of their Graduation may also Apply, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01/09/2015.

Selection Process: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.

Phase-I - Preliminary Examination: The Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:-

Phase-II - Main Examination: The Exam will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Here's the structure for the objective paper:

Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.


Phase-III – Final Selection: The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in GD & Interview (Phase-III) for preparation of the final merit list.
SBI Clerk 2018

State Bank Of India (SBI) will conduct its SBI Clerk Exam for recruitment to the post of Assistant in Clerical Cadre. Complete expected eligibility criteria is provided below, go through the below information.

Educational Qualification: 
A Graduate Degree from a recognised university, or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central/State Government. 

Age Limit: 
Minimum Age : 20 years
Maximum Age : 28 years

Other Backward Classes (OBC): 03 Years
PWD (Gen): 10 Years

State Bank of India Clerk Selection Process is based on Online Objective type Test and Personal Interview.

Exam Pattern:
1. Online Exam:  Marks – 200          Time Duration: 2 Hrs 15 min.

2. Interview: The candidates who qualified in online test will be called for interview.

SBI SO 2018

State Bank of India recruits candidates to fill in the vacancies of a Specialist Officer through SBI SO Exam. The Specialist Officer in SBI is recruited both on a regular and contract basis. Interested candidates can fill in the online application form for SBI SO Exam. The posts offered through SBI SO Exam are that of a Chief Manager, Digital System Architect, Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Deputy Manager etc.o the post of Probationary officer.
