SEBI – Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager): Complete Details

☛ What are the posts available under this recruitment project?
The post which will be available in this recruitment project is Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) –
 (General Stream, Legal Stream, Information Technology Stream and Engineering Stream)

☛ What is the Structure of the Exam?
Selection will be carried out in three phases. Phase I will be an on-line examination consisting of Multiple Choice Questions on General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and Awareness of Securities Market.

Candidates would have to secure minimum 40% cut-off marks separately for each test in order to qualify for Phase II. Marks obtained in Phase I shall be used only for shortlisting the candidates for Phase II examination process and will not be counted for final selection of the candidates.

Phase II On-Line Examination:
Candidates shortlisted in Phase I will appear for Phase II, which will also be an on-line examination consisting of three papers.

Candidates, who secure minimum 40% marks separately in each Paper, will be shortlisted for Phase
III- Interview of the recruitment process. Weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in interview shall be given a
weightage of 15%.

☛ When will be the exam conducted?
The Tentative date for Phase I exam is November 17, 2018.
The  Tentative date for Phase II exam is December 16, 2018

☛ How many vacancies are there?

The total number of vacancies are 120.

☛ Will there be any interview after the written result?
Yes, Candidates shortlisted in Phase II will be called for an Interview.

☛ Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
The Exam will be conducted online (Both Phase I and Phase II).

☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on August 31, 2018 i.e., the candidate must have been born on or after September 01, 1988..

☛ What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?

☛ What is the application Fee?
Rs. 850/- as application fee cum intimation charges for Unreserved and OBC (NCL) category and Rs. 100/- as intimation charges for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
