The Jammu and Kashmir Bank has released the notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in the bank. This is a fresh opportunity for those who aspire to get into a Government Job. Eligible candidates who aspire to join J&K Bank as Probationary Officer are required to register on-line for the Recruitment Process. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding the Recruitment Notification. 
☛ What are the posts available under this recruitment project?
The post which will be available in this recruitment project is Probationary Officer.

☛ Who all can apply for the Recruitment Process?
Only permanent residents of J&K State can apply for the process. 

☛ When will be the exam conducted?
The dates will be notified later by the bank. 
☛ How many vacancies are there?
The number of vacancies are 250 for Probationary Officer.

☛ Will there be any interview after the written result?
Yes, as per the notification the Interview will be conducted after the Mains Examination.
☛ Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
Common Written Exam for PO will be conducted online (Both Prelims and Mains).

☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
For General Candidate : 18-30 years as on 01.01.2018
For SC/ST/ ExServicemen : Relaxation of 5 years i.e., 18-35 yrs as on 01.01.2018
The general category candidates born before 02.01.1988 & after 01.01.2000 are not eligible to apply

☛ What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
Graduate / Post-graduate with 60% marks and above:-Educational qualifications should be from a
recognized University/Institute (UGC/AICTE approved) & the result should have been declared on or before 01.10.2018. (The fraction of percentage arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%).
☛ What is the application Fee?
The Candidates will pay the requisite fee
Rs. 1000/– for General Category
Rs. 800/– for Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) Category) to be paid through online mode. 
☛ When will the registration start?
Registration and submission of Application Fees will start from 20.10.2018 to 06.11.2018.
☛ What is the Structure of the exam?

☛ What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for J&K Probationary Officer. It depends on the performance of the candidates. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the written test and the interview.

☛ Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes, there is a sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section in order to secure a seat for the Interview.
☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking for every wrong answer.
