Rs. 3600

Rs. 2700

Rs. 1800

Rs. 2100

Solution:

Let the common multiple be ‘x’

Now,

5x – x = 3600

∴ 4x = 3600 ⇒ x= 900

A’s share = 3x = 3 × 900 = 2700

B’s share = x = 900

A’s share + B’s share

= 2700 + 900

= 3600

Now,

5x – x = 3600

∴ 4x = 3600 ⇒ x= 900

A’s share = 3x = 3 × 900 = 2700

B’s share = x = 900

A’s share + B’s share
