“Great things never come from comfort zones”, says Jogi Sirohi | Intelligence Bureau

Hi ADDA247,

"Great things never come from comfort zones", says Jogi Sirohi | Intelligence Bureau |_2.1
I am very glad to share my success story with the aspirants. Well Good Morning to all my dear friends.
Everyone wants to do something in his/her life. Some people wants to serve the nation and some want to do regular jobs in Banks, SSC or Police. But in other words we can say that we are serving the nation. To serve the nation it is not necessary to become a IAS/IPS/IFoS officer these are All India Services and everyone knows his/her capability. I am not denying from the fact that they are also among us who crack these exams. But this need lot of passions and continuous hardwork in the right direction.
Well I am very thankful to ADDA247 which provided us lot of material for our preparation and one of the best thing is that this all provided to the candidate at free of cost. Earlier I am working with Public Sector Bank as an Assistant Branch Manager. I got selection in this bank in 2016 IBPS Examination. Before this I joined Punjab National Bank as a clerk because of my preparation. Now I am in MHA. I usually practice on bankersadda quiz and also purchased the test series of this. From my perspective the test series are designed in a very accurate way because the trend is changed now and the difficulty level is also increased day by day. We have to enrich ourselves with the changing scenario. One who adopts the things and prepare accordingly he will succeed and one who waste the time in thinking that earlier such type of question were not asked and so on blah! Blah!
I got selection in various examination and at about 5-6 I got final selection but the competitive exams which I have qualified so far is more than 25+. Friends nothing matter from when you are preparing but this matters a lot that you have got final selection. This also not matters that you study 10-14 hours daily but if you do a serious study of 4-5 hours daily then I don’t think that you will not get success. Success will come by its own. Here aspirants lag behind due to lack of confidence because I have also seen that people have too much knowledge but they do not know how to apply it and this is worthless because exams is for testing the knowledge and these are objective in nature we don’t need to write explanation for it. So main thing is that if we have limited knowledge then it should be very clear to candidate that how he can apply it while in the examination Hall.
Friends please don’t cram as this will not give you anything but only a mess in your mind nothing else. Which you read, read properly by linking the things as it will give you deep knowledge of the concept and if you have deep knowledge then you are able to answer the things.

Best practice to study:

It is not necessary to wake up early in the morning but if you can then it is quite good but when you wake up your day starts and first try to read the newspaper for 40-45 minutes which you want to read because it will give you a idea what is happening near you. If you read English newspaper then it will increase your vocab too. But make a habit of it. It will surely give a positive result.
Which you read in a day try to revise it because it will help you to memorize for a long time. Make a practice to give one test daily it may be full test or section wise. Its upto you. I have practiced only by giving test no other book I have related to bank or SSC as I am a UPSC Aspirant and I have the books related to UPSC only. But Test helps me a lot I have also purchased the test series to practice.
Try to avoid chit chat with friends related to that he has got selection he do not study well and so on because it will demoralize you try to get positive things only and get a motivation from your friend that if he can do then why can’t I.
Do not study too much material or do not collect lot of books because it will give only burden to you which book do you have try to finish that book first then go for the next book and always consult to your seniors and teacher or google before buying and stuff.
Install some useful application related to current affairs or small test because when you are free then you can enjoy over it and seriously this will work because the things which we see in electronic media have a long memory. Follow some useful links on twitter or Instagram or Facebook according to your need or subject. Because it will also give you knowledge one if 5-6 question comes from them then it will give a thrust to your final score.

I Have cleared the following examination:

  • Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (till interview)
  • Assistant Commandant ( missed by 5 marks in final selection)
  • SSC CGL (twice) (didn’t prepare well for mains exams)
  • SSC Delhi Police (four times) (not intt in Physical of it!!!)
  • SSC 10+2 (three times) got final selection
  • LIC ADO

These are the exams which I know roughly and again thanks to Bankersadda for providing us current affairs and better study material or our preparation. Wish you all the best for all Aspirants which are going to appear in the exams this year.
Again at the last I want to say that which you study in a day try to revise it and always try to give atleast one test in day if you really want to get success. I earn 50 – 60K in a month but still I am studying because everyone have a aim in her/his life and if we can’t get our dream job then whole life we regret for it. I have time issue but still I am trying my best to cope up with. Always try to get good things from other and try to avoid read the success stories because almost people use extra things that I read for long hours and so on. Always try to be a success story do waste your time in reading those worthless things.
