All About The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET)

All About The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) |_2.1
The Indian Navy has introduced computer-based examination for the selection of Direct Entry Officers after graduation. The first Indian Navy Entrance Test (Officers) ie. INET , is scheduled in August 2019 in various centers across the country. INET (Officers) will be used for screening for PC and SSC Officer candidates for all graduate entries other than UPSC or UES. Currently, officer candidates are shortlisted for interviews by Services Selection Board (SSB) on the basis of marks scored in graduation (or post-graduation for certain entries). Henceforth, shortlisting for SSB will be taken on the basis of marks scored in INET (Officers).

Under the new process, The examination will be conducted twice a year and applicants will need to exercise their option for entries that they wish to be considered for, on the basis of their educational qualification.
INET came as a bliss for all Indian Navy aspirants, they will be facing the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) soon for different officers entry and it will be an online exam like AFCAT, aspirants will be able to join the Indian Navy as an officer for Pilot, Observer, Logistics, Naval armament and other such profiles.

INET Syllabus. INET exam will be of two hours duration. It will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions comprising Questions on English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. Each section will be of 100 marks with negative marking of one mark for incorrect answer.
