The competition is going to be very tough this time and if you will not start your preparations you will find it difficult to beat the competition. This year SBI has introduced sectional timings for prelims as well. Now, you need to practice more on your speed and accuracy to clear the cutoff. Firstly, cover all the topics of the syllabus and practice all types of questions. Then, start giving full-length tests to analyze your strengths and weaknesses. The best way to improve your speed and accuracy is to practice more and more papers from test series. The more you practice, the more will be your chances to get the selection.
As the mains exam is scheduled in August, you cannot think about preparing for mains after prelims. You have to start preparing for mains also from now onwards. After prelims, it will be next to impossible to cover the whole syllabus and the level of difficulty is also high. The mains exam has an additional section of General Awareness. For this section, you need to prepare all the current affairs for previous 4 months at least. So, as the exam is in August, this month of April is the best time to start with your GA as well. Read daily news and current affairs and keep revising them weekly. This section can be the most scoring if prepared well. So, gear up yourself and start practicing from now.
