1.Corporeal (adj) : Of the nature of the physical body.

5.Forestall (v): Prevent or obstruct  by taking advance action.
Synonyms: Obviate, Prevent, Intercept,
Use The government is hoping the distribution of stimulus checks will be enough to forestall a severe recession. 

6.Garner (v) : Gather or collect 
Synonyms: Gather, Collect, Accumulate
Use My son is trying to garner all the cricket cards of his favorite players.

7.Hauteur (n): Proud haughtiness of manner.
Synonyms: Snobbery ,  Disdain,  Conceit
Use : The famous actor is filled with hauteur and refuses to work for anything less than ten million .

8.Grisly (adj) :Causing horror or disgust.
Synonyms: Gruesome,  Frightful, Horrid .
Use : The girl screamed when she saw the grisly spider on her foot.

9.Jovial (adj) : Cheerful and friendly.
Synonyms: Cheerful, Jolly, Happy . 
Use It is hard to make friends if you do not have a jovial personality that sends out welcoming vibes.

10.Accost (v) : Approach and address  boldly or aggressively.
Synonyms: Confront , Dare.
Use The policemen asked Sachin to describe the man who accosted him.
