Dena Bank yesterday released it’s notification for admission to the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course at Amity University Noida.
On successful completion of the course within the stipulated time period, the candidates would be offered appointment in the bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I

Candidates shall be selected through selection process consisting of online test followed by Group Discussion or/and Personal Interview. Admission to the One year full-time post graduate diploma course in Banking and Finance from Amity University Noida comes with the assurance of a full-fledged Banking career with Dena Bank on successful completion of the course.

☛ Will the exam be conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
Common Written Exam for Dena Bank’Probationary Officers will be conducted in online mode.
☛ What is the Structure of Examination?

The structure of the examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:

☛ Will there be any interview after the written result?
Yes, there will be interview process for Probationary Officers. The applicants, who are successful in the On-line test, would be called for a personal interview and/or Group Discussion.

The aggregate marks of qualified candidates in the Objective Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit, subject to 4 times the number of vacancies declared for each category, will be called for Interview and/ or Group Discussion as decided by the Bank. The qualifying marks in Interview and/or Group Discussion will be as decided by the Bank.
The final merit list for selection will be on the basis of performance in Online Test and Interview and/or Group Discussion as decided by the Bank.
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?

Age (As on 01.04.2017) Minimum 20 years – Maximum 29 years i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.04.1988 and not later than 01.04.1998 (both dates inclusive).
☛ What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?

Qualification (As on 01.04.2017) –Degree (Graduation) with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification as such recognized by Central Government.

☛ What to select among JAIIB, CAIIB, DBF, and computer certificate while filling up the form?
The candidate who are working with any bank may have JAIIB, CAIIB and DBF Certification but if you are a graduate or you don’t have these certification then you should select computer certificate as an option.
This option is mandatory and you can only select computer certificate as an option if you have computer literacy certificate or you have studied it as a subject in 10th, 12th or in graduation.

☛ What is the application Fee?

Application Fees/ Intimation Charges [Payable from 18.04.2017 to 09.05.2017 (both dates inclusive)] shall be as follows –

– Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
– Rs. 400 /- for all others
☛ When will the registration start?

Registration will start from 18.04.2017 to 09.05.2017, both dates inclusive.
☛ Is the exam Bilingual?
The tests except the Test of English Language in Mains exam all others will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

☛ What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cut-off. It depends on the performance of the candidates. Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Mains Examination and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process.
☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.
What is the Programme fees for this course?
The fees for this Course will be Rs. 3.00 lakhs (all inclusive of boarding, Lodging and course fees, other fees, etc.) plus service taxes, as applicable to be paid by the student. Changes in the Course fees if any will be informed to the successful candidates subsequently.
What will be the pay scale for this post?

They will be fixed in starting pay scale as applicable to JMG I Officer.

Incentives
During nine months classroom training the students shall be paid a sum of Rs 2500/- pm as stipend and during the next three months of internship a stipend of Rs 10000/- pm shall be paid.
