IBPS PO Prelims 2016: Exam Analysis – 16th October, Slot I

Finally the day has arrived; which you all have been waiting for. A lot of students have appeared for their preliminary exam today and it will continue till 27th. Without wasting any moment, let’s get straight to the analysis which you all are interested in.

There are 3 Sections in IBPS PO Pre exam namely English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. This year the paper was of moderate level. There were 2 seating arrangements and 2 puzzles in reasoning. No Fillers were asked in English Language and Quant was of Easy-Moderate level.

Quantitative Aptitude (Easy-Moderate)

The level of quantitative aptitude was easy to moderate. There were two sets of DI, one was of Line graph and another was of Table.

English Language (Moderate-Difficult)

The level of English was a bit difficult as compared to other two sections. There were no Fill in the blanks and also no question of antonym and synonym were asked in the Reading Comprehension.

Reasoning Ability (Easy and Doable)

The level of reasoning was easy to moderate. No questions from coding decoding were asked. There was 1 circular seating arrangement in which all were sitting facing towards the center, another was a linear seating arrangement in which all were sitting in same line facing either north or south. Among 2 puzzles one was comparison based and another was floor based puzzle.
