ENGLISH LANGUAGE (Difficult)

Changes seen in yesterday’s SO IT Officer exam prevailed in today’s exam as well.  This section was of a Difficult level. Questions were of the new pattern, errors and fill in the blanks, where they gave two sentences with two blanks and one word has to be filled. Apart from these topics, there were questions from Reading Comprehension, Errors and Jumbled Paragraph.

GENERAL AWARENESS (Easy-Moderate)

G.A Section was relatively easier than other sections. A majority of questions were from the theoretical part of baking awareness. There were also questions from Current Affairs and Static awareness, and it was a sight of relief where other sections had some big changes.

REASONING ABILITY (Moderate- Difficult)

This section had 50 questions and time given was 30 minutes. The pattern was very similar to IBPS SO IT Officer exam’s reasoning section. Overall the section was Moderate to Difficult. Topics from which questions were asked were, Inequalities (easy) Syllogism (Easy-Moderate), Puzzles and Seating Arrangement ( Difficult, 2 variable puzzles), Passage Inference (Difficult), Data Sufficiency (Moderate-Difficult).
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE (Moderate-Difficult)

This section was a bit lengthy, although the difficulty level was moderate. This is the deciding section, as the scores obtained in professional knowledge out of maximum 80 marks will be the deciding factor if a candidate’s name will be in the merit list. There were questions from Reading Comprehension (related to women empowerment), Grammar, Synonym (पर्यायवाची), Translation and Word Meaning.

All the best for upcoming exams!!!!!
