India is a country with 28 states and 8 union territories at present. As we all know, the capital of India is New Delhi. Our Country is 7th Largest country in the world in terms of land area, whereas it is as well 2nd Largest Country in terms of population. India is home to 17.5% population of the world and occupies 2.4% of the world’s area.
