This is Mandeep Singh from Punjab. Hope you all are good and preparing hard for your interview. Presently
I am working in OBC bank as Agriculture Field Officer (Scale I). I want to share my interview experience
with you all because it’ll help someone in near future. My interview started at around 11.30 am. 5 Male
Members and 1 Female Member constituted the panel out of which 2 were from agriculture field. So my
interview goes like this:
ME: May I come in sir.
PANEL: Yes Plz come.
ME: Good Morning Mam .Good Morning Sir
PANEL: Good Morning. Please sit.
ME: Thank u Sir,
PANEL: So Mandeep tell me from which college you are?
ME: from Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana.
PANEL: Tell me something about you.
ME: Explained briefly
PANEL: asha toh ye btao sab se asha irrigation method kon sa h?
ME: drip irrigation
PANEL: Why?
ME: bcoz it reduces the water loss
PANEL: Ok irrigation karne ke or kon kon se method h?
ME: Answered
PANEL: kisi agency ko agar tractor finance krna ho toh farmer se kya kya requirement chahiye?
ME: answered
PANEL: Who is the father of Green Revolution in India?
ME: Dr. Swaminathan is known as Father of India’s Green Revolution
PANEL: What steps Govt of india has taken recently for Financial Inclusion in India?
ME: Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojana with brief description of all the aspects concerned.
PANEL: Modi ji ne iske sath ek card bhi issue kiya hai voh kon sa card h?
ME: Rupay card
PANEL: Who issues Rupay card?
ME: National Payment Corporation of India
PANEL: What is the difference between RTGS & NEFT?
ME: Explained in detail about it
PANEL: agr mera a/c PNB mein hai or maine BOB me Rs. 3 lac bhejne ho toh kya krna chahiye ?
ME: Ma’am, RTGS karna hoga
PANEL: agr mera A/C PNB mein hai or mane PNB mein apni sister ke a/c mein 3,36,000 bhejna ho
toh kya kroge RTGS jah NEFT?
ME: No need for RTGS & NEFT. As the transfer is to a/c in the same bank there can be direct transfer
from one a/c to another bank.

My interview was about 15 -20 mins.duration. I suggest you to all who are going to appear in the Specialist
Officer – V be confident do not do any over active things.
As far as specialization is concerned, as I am Btech (Agriculture Engg.) they asked me about irrigation,
soils, etc. but if u are from dairy, fishing, veterinary etc . Please do have the basic knowledge of your
subjects. Be confident there is nothing to fear.
