Syllabus For CET
We are expecting that based on the exam pattern of all three agencies namely- IBPS, Railways, and SSC, there will be four sections i.e Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Given below is the Section-wise syllabus of the CET.
English Language- This is one section that aims to test the basic knowledge of this language of the candidate and hence one can expect Reading Comprehension, Error Detection, Synonym, and Antonym, Fill in the blanks, Sentence correction, etc. One needs to be well-versed in the grammatical rules to ace this section.
Quantitative Aptitude- This section checks the basic mathematical aptitude of a candidate. The syllabus will be of 10th level and will have topics from Arithmetics like Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Time and Work, Profit and loss. One may found algebra and trigonometry as well. Number series questions and Data Interpretation can also be seen and hence the wise thing would be to be well versed in the Arithmetic section as questions from this topic will definitely come.
Reasoning Section- This section tends to check the problem-solving ability of a candidate. Topics on Blood relation, Direction, and sense, Rank and Order, Clock, etc. This section will be more clear once the syllabus of CET will be available.
General Awareness- One can easily prepare for this section because this will contain questions from Current as well as from static GK. So one can always start the preparation of this section. Though the ratio of the two topics is not defined we are expecting that the Current affair section will be more than Static.
This is a generalize syllabus based on our own analysis and it is subjective to change once the final syllabus will be out. As mentioned earlier, there are no updates related to the CET Syllabus so far but we will keep updating you in this space so make sure you keep visiting this space.
