IPPB Recruitment 2017, Notification & Syllabus



The exam of IPPB 2017 will be tentatively conducted in first week of January 2018. The dates for IPPB 2017 have not been announced yet by Post Payment Bank Ltd. IPPB 2017 Exam will be organized to recruit candidates to the post of Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager and Officer (I, II, III).

IPPB or India Post Payment Bank is a reputed government organization functioning under Indian Postal Department. It was established on 17th July 2014 and currently has its headquarters in Delhi. The organization’s rules are monitored under Banking Regulation Act.

IPPB 2017 Notification

Indian Post Payment Bank Limited will release IPPB 2017 Notification shortly. Candidates are requested to visit this page regularly to remain updated about IPPB 2017 Exam. The dates for IPPB Preliminary Exam 2017 will be declared with the release of official notification for IPPB 2017 Examination. IPPB Mains Exam will be conducted once the result of Preliminary Exam has been declared by IPPB. IPPB Recruitment 2017 will start after the notification has been released by IPPB.

IPPB 2017 Vacancy

A number of vacancies will be created in different departments of Post Payment Banks for Scale I, II and III Officers in different states of India. The number of vacancies is likely to be different from last year due to changing norms of the Central Government. According to last years’ statistics around 1710 positions were filled through IPPB exam. The vacancy is expected to be more or less same this year as well.

The Exam Dates for IPPB 2017 Exam will be released once the Notification for the same has been released. Candidates will be notified about the exam dates once it is announced by India Post Payment Bank Ltd.

IPPB 2017 Exam Pattern

IPPB 2017 Preliminary Exam

The Preliminary Exam of IPPB 2017 will constitute of 100 marks and it has to be completed in a time frame of 60 minutes. The major sections asked in Preliminary Exam are:

IPPB Mains Exam 2017 will constitute of total 200 questions that needs to be completed in total 140 minutes. The major sections asked in Mains Exam are:

  • General Awareness.

After a candidate has cleared the preliminary round as well as the mains round of IPPB 2017 Exam, he/she will be further called for the Interview Process. IPPB 2017 eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have done Graduation from a University / Institution recognized by the Government of India. The candidates who have done CA or MBA with minimum 3 to 6 years of experience can also apply. Before applying, please refer to the details or eligibility criteria required for that particular post thoroughly.

Age Limit


  • For the position of JMGS Officer Scale-I, the candidate should possess a minimum age of 20 years and maximum up to 30 years.
  • For MMGS Officer Scale-II minimum age limit should be equal or more than 26 years and maximum up to 35 years.
  • For the Post of MMGS Officer Scale-III minimum age should be 23 years and maximum up to 35 years.
Note- The candidates belonging to different reserved categories and appearing in the India Post Payments Bank Recruitment 2017 will be provided age relaxation by Central Government norms and rules

IPPB 2017 Admit Card

The Admit Card for IPPB 2017 will be released once the registration process of IPPB 2017 exam has been completed. The Admit Card will be released on the official website of Post Payment Bank, the link to which will be provided on this page. Admit Card will be released separately for Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and the Interview Process.The Admit Card will be released 7-10 days before the commencement of each phase of the exam.


IPPB 2017 Result

Though the Final date of IPPB 2017 Result is not mentioned yet, but the candidates who will clear all the stages of Recruitment process will get shortlisted and their names or roll numbers will be declared on the Official Website.


IPPB 2017 Cut-Off

The Cut-Off for IPPB 2017 Exam will be released once the exam for each phase has been conducted by Indian Post Payment Bank Ltd. IPPB 2107 Cut-Off for Preliminary Exam will be released after the result has been declared for the same. Cut-Off for Mains Exam will be declared after the Mains Exam has been conducted and the result has been declared for the same.
