Salary of SBI Clerk may vary from state to state which depends on the posting of an employee.Generally, students in metropolitan cities avail higher amount than other SBI Clerk employees at other places although the difference is very less. SBI Clerk Pay scale: Rs.11765-655/ 3-13730-815/ 3-16175-980/ 4-20095-1145/7-28110-2120/ 1-30230-1310/1-31450.The starting Basic Pay is Rs.13075/- (Rs 11765/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)

Basic salary of an SBI Clerk(Junior associate) will be  Rs. 11,765/- with an annual increment of Rs 655/-.

After 3 years, basic salary of the SBI Clerk will be 13730 after which amount of rs 815/- will be added in his salary as an annual increment for three years. Again after three years, he will be getting basic pay of Rs 16175/-. Maximum basic salary of SBI Clerk is 31450/-

SBI Clerk Allowances and other benefits

Apart from the salary, SBI Clerk is liable to get other benefits as per the SBI guidelines. Below is the table for the detail SBI Clerk allowances that an employee during his service time can avail.

Dearness Allowance (DA) This is based on the consumer price index (CPI) and is revised after every 4 years. The DA increases when inflation is high and vice versa.
House Rent Allowance (HRA) The HRA depends on the city of SBI Clerk’s posting. If it is a Metro city, the HRA is higher. In the case of rural areas, the HRA is less.

SBI Clerk can also reimburse other allowances like furniture, telephone bills, travel allowance (For official purpose) etc.
