Q3. If three fifth of total population of Kanpur consume alcohol, then what is the ratio of males who consume alcohol to the total population who do not consume alcohol in Kanpur?
Q4. What is the difference between average no. of males and average no. of females who are alcohol consumer in all the five cities?
Q5. If 10% , 20% and 25% persons leave consuming of alcohol due to fear of infection in liver in cities Jhansi, Bhopal and Aligarh respectively then what is the ratio of males who are still consuming alcohol in these cities respectively?
Q6. In how many ways can 5 prizes be distributed to 8 students if each student can get any number of prizes?
Q7. There are four hotels in a town. If three men check into the hotels in a day then what is the probability that all of them do not check into the same hotel?
Out of this there will be 4 ways in which all of them will check into the same hotel.
Number of ways all of them do not check into the same hotel = 64 – 4 = 60 ways
Required probability = 60/64 = 15/16
Q8. How many 4 digits number can be formed using 2, 3, 5, 7, 6 and 9 if the number should be divisible by ‘4’ and repetition is not allowed?
Starting two numbers can be chosen in 4 × 3 = 12 ways
Total no. of ways = 12 × 8 = 96 ways
Q9. Find the probability in which 4 boys and 3 girls can be seated in a row such that no two girls or boys sit together?
Q10. How many 6 letter words can be formed using the word “MATTER” in which no. of T’s do not come together?

∴ ? = 347 × 3 – 5 = 1036
Q14. 12, 24, 96, 576, ? , 46080
∴ ? = 576 × 8 = 4608
Q15. 156, 468, 780, ? , 1404, 1716
∴ ? = 780 + 312 = 1092
