Hi fellow aspirants,
This is not only the success story, this is an inspirational story to those who are aspiring for banking jobs. By this story I want to share my journey towards my goal which was not so easy, but continuous effort and hard work made it true.
First of all I want to tell you about a few doubts which were in my mind while I was preparing for bank exams.
(1) whether a student like me who got just 48% in graduation, would able to secure a job in government sector.
(2) As I was working and stepped out of the house at 7 am and got back at around 9 pm so with that schedule would I able to make it.
(3) with general category where cut-off goes sky-high and that too in a state like WB where almost every year cut-off remains highest, would I ever be achieve anything.
I completed my graduation in physiology in the year 2010, but due to lack of awareness I started preparation from 2013 June. The journey was not at all smooth.

Though I tasted the success in my second written exam which was IBPS Clerk 2013, but was unable to make into the final list. GK was the main reason. Then next year I attempted SBI Clerk 2014 and missed overall cut-off by merely 1 mark. Again, GK remained the main reason. It was really heart-breaking but it also gave me belief that I was somewhere close to what I dreamed of. Then a series of exam let me down even more as at every occasion I cleared written but interview became the phobia.. I needed to score more in written exam to subside the interview phobia.
Bankers adda came as a life line especially in GK which was my weakest subject. In 2014 I cleared back to back four exams including IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI and SBI Associates Clerk but couldn’t get enlisted in the final list. In SBI PO 2015 I got disqualified in preliminary stage and that day as I still remember I was completely shattered. I lost my way completely and was almost sure that I could never achieve anything. Anyhow I recollected myself for the next battles which were  RRB PO, Assistant and IBPS PO and Clerk.. Once again I was unable to clear RRB PO but managed to clear RRB Assistant.. Then came IBPS PO and once again mains was horrible but I was selected for interview somehow but hope for final selection was very less as my total attempt was only 100. In clerk I did well.

Then the day came. On the very 1st day of 2016 brought happiness with it as I was finally selected for RRB Assistant. It was my first job. But still as PO was my goal I tried hard for interview even though I knew that chances are fairly less. Accuracy played a big role and I got 95.25 marks in written by attempting just 100 questions. And you know what I got 75% in GK and it turned out to be the main scoring subject for me. A big thanks to BANKERS ADDA._/_

The most memorable day of my life came on 1st April. I hit the bull’s eye. I was selected for IBPS PO (United Bank of India) and CLERK (Bank of Baroda)on the same day. I got 69 marks in interview. I was at the cloud high.

I joined as PO in united bank of India on 23rd may 2016 and it was the day for which I had spent in-numerous sleepless nights. So friends, at last I just want to say that,

“If you have determination and u can dream,
then even sky is not the limit for u.”

A lot of exams are coming again  and I hope you too will get what I got on this 1st april. All the best aspirants. Believe you all are inch closer from your goal. At last I want to sum up by the inspirational words of Bradley Whitford-

“Infuse your life with action.
Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen.
Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love.
And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator,
not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high,
but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself,
right now, right down here on Earth. “
