1. Erring [ur-ing, er-] 
Adjective: going astray; in error; wrong; sinning.
Synonyms: blundering, deviating, sinning, straying, wrong, criminal, culpable, delinquent, errant.

Example: This development comes within a few weeks of Prime Minister Narendra Modi indicating stringent measures against those involved in money laundering — including through shell companies — following demonetisation, and asking the ICAI to hasten action against CAs “helping tax evaders.”
2. Stringent [strin-juh nt] 
Adjective: rigorously binding or exacting; strict; severe; compelling, constraining, or urgent; convincing or forcible; (of the money market) characterized by a shortage in money for loan or investment purposes; tight.
Synonyms: binding, demanding, draconian, exacting, forceful, harsh, inflexible, ironclad, rigorous, severe, stiff, strict, tough, acrimonious, brick-wall, by the book, by the numbers, compelling, confining.
Antonyms: amenable, calm, easy, easy-going, facile, flexible.
3. Launder [lawn-der, lahn-] 
Verb: to wash (clothes, linens, etc.); to wash and iron (clothes); to disguise the source of (illegal or secret funds or profits), usually by transmittal through a foreign bank or a complex network of intermediaries.
Synonyms: clean, cleanse.
4. Hasten [hey-suh n] 
Verb: to move or act with haste; proceed with haste; hurry; to cause to hasten; accelerate.
Synonyms: accelerate, expedite, precipitate, quicken, step up, urge, advance, bolt, bound, burn, bustle, clip, dash, dispatch.
Antonyms: check, decelerate, halt, hinder, retard.
5. Evade [ih-veyd] 
Verb: to escape from by trickery or cleverness; to get around by trickery; to avoid doing or fulfilling.
Related forms: evader, noun.
Synonyms: debtor, defaulter, felon, hoodlum, juvenile delinquent, lawbreaker, offender, wrongdoer, behind.
Example: The first of its kind Women Technology Park (WTP) set up by the S.R. Engineering College with the help of government agencies is proving to be a boon for the rural poor.
6. Boon [boon] 
Noun: something to be thankful for; blessing; benefit; something that is asked; a favor sought.
Synonyms: blessing, godsend, windfall, benefaction, benefit, benevolence, break, compliment.
Antonyms: luck, disadvantage, forfeit, harm, hindrance, hurtloss.
Example: Trawling time.
7. Trawl [trawl] 
noun: a strong fishing net for dragging along the sea bottom; a buoyed line used in sea fishing, having numerous short lines with baited hooks attached at intervals.
Verb: to fish with a net that drags along the sea bottom to catch the fish living there; to fish with a trawl line.
Synonyms: drag, dragnet, line, net, seine, troll.
Example: SC summons officials on firecracker pollution.
8. Summons [suhm-uh nz] 
Noun: an authoritative command, message, or signal by which one is summoned; a request, demand, or call to do something; Law. a call or citation by authority to appear before a court or a judicial officer; the writ by which the call is made; an authoritative call or notice to appear at a specified place, as for a particular purpose or duty.
Verb: to serve with a summons; summon.
Synonyms: citation, notification, writ, call, process, requisition.
Example: Whistleblower for probe into NEET.
9. Whistle-blower [hwis-uh l-bloh-er, wis-] 
Noun: a person who informs on another or makes public disclosure of corruption or wrongdoing.
Synonyms: bigmouth, blabberer, blabbermouth, busybody, canary, fat mouth, fink, gossip, informer, rat, rumormonger, scandalmonger, snitch.
Example: Fadnavis heckled by farmers.
10. Heckle [hek-uh l] 
Verb: to harass (a public speaker, performer, etc.) with impertinent questions, gibes, or the like; badger.
Synonyms: badger, bully, embarrass, hound, interrupt, pester, rattle, ridicule, taunt, tease, bait, bother, chivy, dis, discomfit.
Antonyms: leave alone, please, praise, aid, arrange.
