Success Story: "Where there is a will ,There is a way" |_2.1
Hi friends.I would like to share my success story with the bankers adda team and with you all guys.which i hope will be helpful for the upcoming aspirants for bank exams .At present I am working as a po in dena bank.It was my long wish to get into the most prestigious banking institution i.e SBI. When the notification came out in april. I was too excited as well as nervous because it is really an arduous task to crack such a highly competitive exam where more than 20 lakhs candidates apply for  mere 2000 posts.

My parents have been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement throughout my journey.I was a bit weak in data interpretation section and at times i would think of giving up but my mother was always by my side to encourage me and instill positivity in me.I started practicing a lot from previous year’s question papers and competitive exam books like kiran prakashan.Apart from this i ardently followed all the updates of bankers adda , be it any gk update or the night class quizzes on reasoning, english and data interpretation. It really helped a lot in my preparation by exposing me to a wide range of questions.

Just a week after the notification was out I enrolled in the online test series of career power.Everyday i used to give 1 test and this helped a lot to identify my weak areas and work on them .As a result my speed got enhanced and accuracy also improved,Hence it is very important to identify the weak areas and it is you only who can do that.No coaching institute can help you in this .What I feel is that a systematic and scientific approach in preparation is very important to crack competitive exams.

At the end i would like to quote the very common but famous saying “Where there is a will, there is a way”.If you want something desperately put all your energy and efforts in it and there is no force in the world which will stop you from achieving what you want.

Friends I would like to share my experience which motivated me to choose banking, I passed my PGDM(FINANCE) in 2013 after that i joined one of the MNC, worked there for 2 years, as it was night shift i was unable continue as it was affecting my health so resigned  from there in Nov 2014 apart from this, other factor ,is  family tension and my mothers health was not good  and no was taking proper of her as my father was looking after shop and my only sister is studying  outside.  The journey which I started last year (2014) in the month of December, finally got a seat booked in SBI (PO).

First of all I would like to thanks each and every member of the banker’s adda for supporting so rigorously for helping and motivating after each and every exam and some day would  visit the main BA branch to see all my guru. I would not make the post very boring my adding boring stuffs so just a summary what I learned during my preparation.

Below are exams in which I appeared-:

1. NICL(ASST)-FAILED
2. OICL(AO)-FAILED

3. IDBI(EXECUTIVE)- Passed, waiting list
4. SBI(PO)-Passed(Final List)
5. LIC ADO-Passed(Final list)
6. RRB OS1-Passed won’t appear for interview.
7. RRB OA-Passed  won’t appear for interview.
8. IBPS PO -Qualified but not going to give mains.

As per my experience if a person  is dedicating 8-9 hours a days for 7 months and more with a fixed time table with discipline can crack any bank exams time table which I followed are -:

3-4 hours gk which I read from BA includes everything initially it will be less but as notes increases so revision increases.

2 hours maths during initial day but later it got reduced to 1hour.

2 hours reasoning during initial day but later it got reduced to 1hour.

Afternoon was dedicated towards test every alternate day.

1 hour daily computer as I am from commerce background.

My Experiences:

1.Each and every who are preparing for competitive exams will get some or other job sooner or later if he/she keep his hard work despite of failure.

2.While preparing for exams try to avoid people who always  speak negative, regulars test series is a must.

3.The instruction  and suggestion given by Banker’s Adda follow them seriously, accuracy matters the most don’t go by attempt.

4. Exam are test of your mind how behave in a situation and control your nerves, remember one thing friends if the question it is tough for every one.

5. Last but not the least before appearing any exams if possible always see review or analysis given by BA it helps a lot.
