The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Skill Test Schedule for the post of Personal Assistant (PA) in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). A total of 823 candidates have been shortlisted to appear in the skill test for 323 vacancies under this recruitment drive. The skill test is a crucial stage in the selection process, and candidates must ensure they are well-prepared and familiar with the exam scheme and guidelines. The test will assess stenography proficiency in either English or Hindi, followed by transcription on a computer.
UPSC EPFO Skill Test Dates 2025 Out
As per the official notification, the UPSC EPFO PA Skill Test 2025 will be conducted on 26 July, 27 July, 2 August, and 3 August 2025. The venue for the test is the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM), Administrative Block, Opposite Ber Sarai Market, JNU (Old) Campus, Olof Palme Marg, New Delhi- 110067. All shortlisted candidates are advised to appear at the designated venue and date as per the schedule provided to them, and the e-Admit Card will be released one week prior to the date of the skill test.

The skill test comprises two parts: Dictation and Transcription. Candidates must meet the required speed and accuracy to qualify. Candidates must demonstrate both speed and precision, as errors in transcription and delays can significantly impact their selection. Skill Test Components:
Dictation
- Duration: 10 minutes
- Speed: 120 words per minute (wpm)
- Language: English or Hindi (as opted by the candidate)
Transcription Time
- 50 minutes for English
- 65 minutes for Hindi
- Mode: Transcription must be done on a Computer Only
EPFO PA Skill Test Venue & Timing
Candidates must reach the venue on time to complete biometric verification and document checks before the commencement of the test. All shortlisted candidates are required to report for the test at:

Candidates are divided into two shifts on each day:
- Forenoon Shift: 08:15 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 12:45 PM
Admit Card of EPFO PA Skill Test
Any candidate failing to report on the assigned date and time may be disqualified from the selection process.
- The e-Admit Card will be available one week prior to the scheduled skill test date.
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the e-Admit Card, a valid Photo ID proof, and the call letter to the venue.
