IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2021
IBPS PO Age limit (As on 09.10.2021): Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 30 years
Education Qualifications : A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Computer Knowledge: It is important for candidates to have the working knowledge of computer systems to give the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.
Language Proficiency: It is important for candidates to be proficient in the official language of the State/UT is desirable.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants:
Given below is the eligibility criteria related to the Nationality/ Citizenship of Applicants:
1.Candidate must be the citizen of India
2. Candidate must be the subject of Nepal or Bhutan
3. Those candidates who are Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
4. Those Candidates are allowed who are of Indian Origin (PIO) and has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

IBPS PO 2021 Exam Process
IBPS PO Exam is a 3-stage process i.e.
- IBPS PO Preliminary Exam
- IBPS PO Mains Exam
- IBPS PO Interview
More than 20 lakh aspirants appear for the IBPS Bank PO examination every year to become Officer in Public Sector Banks. About 20 times the number of students qualify for the next stage i.e. IBPS PO Mains Exam. Subsequently, 3 to 5 times the number of candidates is recommended for IBPS PO Interview.

In IBPS PO official notification 2018, there were initially 4102 vacancies mentioned which rose to 4252 after the culmination of IBPS PO recruitment process.

IBPS PO 2021 Admit Card & Call Letter
The admit card or call letter will be available on the official websites of IBPS. Candidates who will apply for this exam may download the IBPS PO 2021 admit card from the official website of the bank as the hard copy of the IBPS PO Admit Card will not be sent to the candidate via post. To login on the official website, the candidates will require the following:

• Date of Birth/ Password
The admit card will be made available 10 to 15 days before the IBPS PO 2021 Exam. The admit card or call letter for IBPS PO 2021 will be issued in 3 phases:
• Online Preliminary Examination
• Online Mains Examination
• Interview
IBPS PO 2021 Exam Pattern
IBPS PO is a three-tier examination which consists of preliminary, mains and interview process. Candidates can check IBPS PO exam pattern given below:
Stage – 1: IBPS PO Pre Examination
IBPS PO Preliminary examination is objective type & the medium of paper is generally English. The medium for Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning Ability is both Hindi & English.

There is a provision of sectional cut-off i.e. candidates will have to qualify each section separately.
Stage 2: IBPS PO Mains Examination
IBPS PO Main Exam is both objective & descriptive in nature and is based on online mode. The objective test is 3 hours consist of 200 marks whereas the descriptive test is of 30 minutes of 25 marks.

The descriptive test is a test of English which contains Letter Writing and Essay with 25 marks and 30 minutes duration.
Note: For every wrong answer in both preliminary and mains examination, there will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the particular question.
Stage 3: IBPS PO Interview
The total marks assigned to the interview stage is 100. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC. The ratio of mains exam and interview for final merit list will be 80:20.
Note: Only the marks of mains and interview is calculated for the overall merit list. Prelims marks are just qualifying in nature.
