IBPS SO 2026 Interview Process

The Interview is the final stage of the IBPS SO recruitment process and is conducted for candidates who qualify in the Mains examination. While the Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature, the final merit list is prepared by considering the marks obtained in the Mains Examination and Interview in the ratio of 80:20.

The interview is generally conducted for 100 marks, and candidates are required to secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by IBPS. Typically, candidates belonging to the General category need 40% marks, while candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories require 35% marks to qualify the interview.
