Bank of Baroda has released the Guest Player Recruitment 2026 notification for engagement of players on a retainership basis for its sports teams in Bengaluru. The recruitment is open for Cricket, Basketball and Kabaddi, with a total of 14 vacancies. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through email from 29 September 2026 to 7 October 2026.

Bank of Baroda has announced 14 Guest Player vacancies for its Bengaluru sports teams. The sport-wise and role-wise vacancy details are given below:

Bank of Baroda Guest Player Salary 2026

The selected candidates will receive a monthly retainership of ₹25,000. The engagement will initially be for 12 months. Other financial benefits may also be provided, wherever admissible under the applicable Sports Policy of the Bank.

The engagement is temporary and contractual in nature. It will not create any employer-employee relationship with Bank of Baroda, and the selected players will not have any claim for regular appointment or absorption in the Bank.

Bank of Baroda Guest Player Eligibility 2026

Candidates applying for the Bank of Baroda Guest Player Recruitment 2026 must fulfil the prescribed age, educational qualification, nationality and sports achievement requirements.

Age Limit

Candidates must be 18 to 30 years of age as on the date of advertisement.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed 10th Standard from a recognized Board.

Nationality

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the Guest Player engagement.

Sports Qualification

Candidates must meet the prescribed sports achievement criteria. Eligible sporting backgrounds include representation at State/UT or national/international level, medal-winning performances in specified junior or Khelo India competitions, Inter-University tournaments, and recognised school-level national sports competitions, as applicable to the candidate.

The sports certificates submitted by candidates must be issued by the appropriate recognised authority, such as the concerned National Federation, State/UT Association, university sports authority, education authority or designated Sports Authority of India official.

The selection process will consist of scrutiny/shortlisting followed by Field Trials. Candidates shortlisted for the field trials will be informed about the date, time and venue separately.

The field trial and assessment will be conducted for a total of 100 marks:

• The field trials will be conducted at a designated venue in Bengaluru. The exact date, time and venue will be communicated separately to eligible applicants through their unique Registration Number.
• Candidates appearing for the field trials must attend at their own cost. They should carry their recent photograph along with the original documents and self-attested copies of the required certificates and identity documents.
• Candidates should also be prepared to demonstrate their physical fitness, sport-specific skills, technique and overall suitability for the respective sports team.
