The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has released the CSIR SO ASO Exam Date 2024 on the official website of CSIR at www.csir.res.in on 17 January 2024. The CSIR SO ASO 2024 Admit Card has been released on 26 January 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the CSIR SO ASO exam must check CSIR Exam Date for SO and ASO posts. CSIR SO ASO 2024 Exam Date

CSIR SO ASO exam will be conducted from 5 February to 20 Feburary 2024. Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be condcted on the same day in different timings which are given below.

Does the CSIR Exam Include an Interview?

Through the CSIR SO ASO selection process discussed above, it is crystal clear that aspirants submitting their application forms for the 76 posts of Section Officer will have to appear for the Interview. The weightage of the Interview for the selection of candidates for the position of Section Officer (Gen/F&A/S&P) will be 100 marks. Applicants who achieve the minimum required marks in the aggregate for Paper– I, Paper- II, and Paper- III, totaling 500 marks, will be called for the interview stage.

CSIR SO ASO 2024 Exam Pattern

The CSIR SO ASO Exam Pattern has been divided into certain sections. In the Paper I candidates have to go through the subjects like General Awareness and English Language and comprehension. Paper I will be both objective and descriptive type. Paper II will consist of 200 marks in which 200 objective-type questions will be covered from subjects like General Intelligence, Reasoning, and Mental Ability.
