India Sets Guinness Record With Longest Steel Slag Road

India has achieved a Guinness World Record for the world’s longest steel slag road.
The 1.85-km road is located in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.
It uses processed steel slag, a by-product of steel manufacturing, as road aggregates.

CSIR-CRRI developed the indigenous technology with private-sector participation.
