Ministry of Education Approves Five Centres of Excellence
- The Ministry of Education approved five Centres of Excellence for Classical Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, Pali and Prakrit on October 3, 2026.
- The centres will be hosted by Tezpur University, Visva-Bharati University, Deccan College Pune, Central University of Odisha and Central University of Gujarat, respectively.
- They will focus on advanced research, documentation, preservation, digitisation and wider dissemination of linguistic and literary heritage.

Great Indian Bustard Conservation Enters Rewilding Phase
