About Colombo Security Conclave

The Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) is a regional security grouping comprising India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mauritius and Seychelles.

The CSC brings together National Security Advisors (NSAs) and Deputy NSAs of its member countries.

Origin and Expansion

The top 10 districts are spread across Gujarat, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, while the top 50 districts span 12 states.
Roughly one-third of all districts have more than 1 lakh unincorporated establishments each, while about 9% have fewer than 10,000 establishments.
Only 16 districts have more than 5 lakh unincorporated establishments each.
In 280 districts, GVA per worker exceeds the all-India average of ₹1,56,539, indicating relatively higher economic productivity.
In 237 districts, women constitute at least one-third of the total workforce in the unincorporated sector, while in 25 districts, women account for more than 50% of the workforce.
The districts with the highest shares of female-led unincorporated establishments are concentrated in Telangana, Manipur and Meghalaya.
In Mizoram, female-owned proprietary establishments account for at least 50% of establishments in every district.
Delhi does not have district-level estimates in the report due to its sampling methodology, while separate estimates are not presented for Lakshadweep and Chandigarh, as each comprises only one district.
