The US remained the largest destination, accounting for 54.1% of India’s software exports, followed by Europe (31.8%).
The UK accounted for 15.4% of total software exports.
Software services were predominantly delivered through the off-site mode, which accounted for 91.7% of exports.
Total software services exports, including services delivered through overseas commercial presence, increased 9.5% to US$239.3 billion.
The local software business of foreign affiliates of Indian companies increased from US$13.9 billion in 2024–25 to US$17.9 billion in 2025–26.
The US and UK remained major destinations for the local software business of these foreign affiliates.

The shipyard will manufacture commercial vessels, including tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and LNG carriers.

The project is part of the proposed Dugarajapatnam Shipbuilding-cum-Port Cluster.
The cluster is being developed under the Government of India’s Shipbuilding Development Scheme.
NSHIP-AP has identified MDL as the anchor shipyard for developing the cluster.
