Negative Marking

IOB LBO Salary 2026

The Local Bank Officer (LBO) post is offered in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and other admissible benefits as per Indian Overseas Bank rules.

• Pay Scale: ₹48,480 – 2000/7 – 62,480 – 2340/2 – 67,160 – 2680/7 – 85,920

Probation Period

Candidates appointed as LBOs will remain on probation for two years from the date of joining. During this period, their performance, conduct, and suitability for the post will be assessed by the Bank.

Confirmation in service will be governed by the provisions of the Officers’ Service Regulations (OSR).
