- Phase II: Candidates can select one examination centre.
- The Phase I and Phase II centre choices can be different.
- Candidates applying for two streams must select the same centres for Phase I and Phase II.
- The examination centre mentioned in the call letter will be the centre where the candidate has to appear.
Can Phase I and Phase II Centres Be Different?
Yes. PFRDA specifically allows candidates to select different examination centres for Phase I and Phase II. These choices have to be indicated in the online application. However, candidates applying for two streams are required to opt for the same centres for Phase I and Phase II.
PFRDA Grade A Exam Centre Allotment Rules
Choosing a centre preference does not guarantee that the candidate will be allotted the same centre. PFRDA has clearly stated that, as far as possible, candidates will be allotted a centre of their choice. However, the Authority reserves the right to allot a candidate to another centre, including a centre within the state or outside the state, depending on administrative requirements and other factors.
The Authority may also cancel an examination centre or add new centres depending on the candidate response and administrative feasibility. Therefore, candidates should not assume that their preferred city will necessarily be their final examination venue.
Can PFRDA Grade A Exam Centre Be Changed?
No. Candidates cannot request a change of examination centre after the choice has been exercised. The notification states that no request for a change of centre, venue, date or session will be entertained. The choice of centre made by the candidate is treated as final. PFRDA may itself change or modify the centre if required. Candidates should therefore check their call letter carefully before travelling for the examination.
PFRDA Grade A Call Letter and Exam Centre Details
- Candidates will appear for the examination at the venue mentioned in their respective call letters. The complete address of the examination venue will be provided in the call letter.
- PFRDA will communicate information regarding call-letter downloading through email/SMS, and candidates will have to visit the official PFRDA website to download their call letters.
- Candidates should not rely only on the city selected during registration. They must check the final centre and complete venue address mentioned in the call letter before the examination.
Travel and Accommodation for PFRDA Grade A Exam
Candidates appearing for the examination must make their own travel arrangements. PFRDA does not arrange travelling, boarding or lodging facilities for candidates. Candidates will have to appear at the examination centre mentioned in their call letter at their own risk and expense. Therefore, once the call letter is released, candidates should check:
- Exact examination centre
