RBI will recruit 926 assistants through a two tier exam i.e. RBI Prelims  followed by RBI Mains. RBI Assistant Prelims will be held on 14th/15th February 2020 followed by mains exam in March 2020. The examination will be held online across various centres.

This year, RBI has introduced a major change in examination pattern. RBI has introduced a sectional timing for the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam. Here is the RBI Assistant 2019 exam pattern for prelims and mains pattern:

There is no interview in RBI Assistant Recruitment Process. However, there is Language Proficiency Test (LPT) after the RBI Assistant Mains Exam. Candidates who will get shortlisted after the mains exam will go through the LPT. Language Proficiency Test (LPT) will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned. Candidate who are not proficient in the official/ Local Language will be disqualified.
