Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

Candidates equal to 8 times the ALP vacancies (community-wise) will be shortlisted for CBAT based on Part-A marks of CBT-2 (subject to qualifying Part-B with 35%).

  • CBAT is conducted in English and Hindi only; no other regional languages.
  • There is no negative marking in CBAT.
  • It is mandatory to clear each test battery/section of CBAT separately.
  • Qualifying Marks: A minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery separately.
  • Candidates must carry their Self Screening Medical Declaration Report (Annexures VIII-A & VIII-B) on CBAT day, duly signed by a General Physician and Eye
  • Specialist from a Government hospital/medical college.

Final Merit Formula: The final merit list is prepared as: 50% weightage to Part-A of CBT-2 marks + 50% weightage to CBAT scores. Tie-breaking is done by age (older candidate ranked higher), then alphabetical order of given name.
