History of World Vegan Day

The world vegan day was established in 1994 by Louise Wallis, then Chair of The Vegan Society in the United Kingdom, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organization and the coining of the terms “vegan” and “veganism”.  The President of the Vegan Society decided to elect the date of the 1st of November. Till that time now this day is observed and celebrated as the world vegan day to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Significance of World Vegan Day

Veganism is a lifestyle that is chosen by every individual for a healthy life.
