Educational Qualification, Age Limit & Nationality
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements as on 31 May 2026:
Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have completed graduation on or after 1 January 2022.
- Candidates with one year or more of work/training experience after graduation are not eligible.
Nationality
Applicants must be:
- Citizens of India, or
- Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Eligible persons as specified by the Government of India.
Age Limit
Candidates should be born between 31 May 1998 and 31 May 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation

How to Apply for Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026?
Candidates can apply by following these steps:
- Register on the NATS Portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme).
- Complete student enrollment and obtain the registration number.
- Visit the BFSI SSC application portal.
- Fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee.
- Submit the application and save a copy for future reference.
Apprenticeship Period and Stipend
During the training period, apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend and will be governed by the terms and conditions prescribed by the bank and the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Training Duration: The apprenticeship period will be 12 months.
Monthly Stipend: Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month.
Other Conditions
- No additional allowances will be provided.
- Apprentices will not be eligible for overtime.
- One casual leave per month will be allowed.
- Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment in the bank.

Local Language Test
Candidates qualifying the online examination must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state they have applied for. Those who studied the local language in Class 10th or 12th are exempted from the test.
